Police are responding to two double shootings a block away in Belmont that injured four people.

The youngest victim is a 17 year old boy.

The first shooting happening at the intersection of East 187th Street and Park Avenue at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday. Police say they found a 21-year-old man shot in his leg and a 17-year-old boy shot in the shoulder.

Officers were called back to the same neighborhood around two hours later, just steps away from where they were before. They found two more men shot in front of 4646 Park Ave. Police say a 23-year-old was shot all over his body and a 24-year-old man was shot in his back. They were both rushed to SBH Health System, where they are now recovering.

At this point, police say there's not enough evidence to determine if the two shootings are connected.
